Prime tanker

Let me fix this not all tanker trucks are condos only the freightliners even then some are midroofs and 98% of the Peter's are midroofs with hood caps the mid west regional are international mid roofs

I'm fairly certain that the extra 5cpm for lightweights is only in the reefer division.

Flatbed trucks are all condos.

Tanker trucks are all condos with the exception of some lease driver's on dedicated accounts.

Reefer trucks are condo or lightweight. You get an extra 5cpm in a lightweight. You also get another extra 5cpm if you run East coast regional I believe.

You can be company as a tanker driver. One other thing that must be considered cause it affected me, your home! I was told I couldn’t go tanker cause I live in Orlando, Fl. They mostly run a triangle from Savanna, GA to Newark, NJ to Decatur, IL if I remember correctly. But you will get longer runs too. If I remember correctly IC24k ran some loads out west too. But yeah, make sure you’re clear about your home not being a disqualifier.

Also, if you run in a lightweight, it’s an extra .05 cents per mile. So that .49 cent now becomes .54 cents. Huge motivation in my decision to go that route. Too bad it didn’t work out for me. Good luck!

When air is blowing through my vents doesn't matter if up front or in the sleeper it has an odd smell reminds me of rubber. Do I something acting up or do I just need an air freshener? Just got the truck.

Prime sleep apnea

No I don't have a machine I have been told 2 different things at prime I have to get tested for sleep apnea cause of my BMI everything else was great BP and the rest of the physical since I have to do a sleep apnea test and find out that I have it do I only get a 30 day card so they can see if I'm compliant and if I do does that mean I have to redo the DOT physical again or do I get a 1 year card ?

I'm sure you did! I looked at Prime too but was limited to flatbed because of where I live and wanted to start with dry van. The other good thing is that there is more than one good choice.

Beet Juice

I'm sure this topic comes up often but I've been told that drinking beet juice will significantly lower your BP has anyone tested this or anything?

I have to be honest

Listen I have to be honest, I am supper excited about starting orientation and after doing over year of research on this career I'm pumped to get started, but I have to be honest I'm not worried about my BP or my heart rate or anything but I am very worried about my weight being an issue like I'm going to be eliminated cause of it I'm 375lbs and 6'0 tall I do a very active and physical job now so I don't feel at all I am lazy in the workforce, I'm a big dude but not rollie pollie looking. I have been on a very strict diet and exercising everyday, but this still weighs on my mind (no pun intended) is this something I should stress or not stress about. The company I'm starting with is Prime
