Misdemeanors/DUI

I would like to know which of these can make you ineligible to obtain a CDL license. For instance if you have a first offense dui in one state and a 1st offense dui in another state, both being in a personal vehicle. 1 dui over 10 years old and the other about 8 years old. Would this still be considered a 2nd offense? I've been reading where majority of companies will not hire if more than 1 offense. I realize I was an idiot many years ago but I've always wanted to do something like this and wondering if its even worth the time to pursue or just hang it up and move on in another direction. Currently a seven year supervisor in retail management and hate it. Just looking for helpful advice.
