Thank you Army and Rainy! Today was the backing... let's just say I need more work on it. lots More! I had a hard time with the clutch too even tho I've driven a manual in a car most of my life it was difficult for me in the truck and my instructor wants me to try the automatic. All in all the instructor said I did good for my first time. I'm disappointed tho about the manual but they dont want me to fail at this so I'm keep working hard at it . Thank you!

Go for it!! Just take that next step dont let anyone discourage you. As far as the pets if you can get someone to care for them till you get outta training? I think you will be happy once to take the chance.

So today finally get to school I've studied all weekend on pre trip and inside cab pretrip. I actually got in my car to practice this Haha just had to visualize the valves and stuff. So I'm second in line for test I drew A .. Form A whoo hoo!! I had it all down but was relieved I got that one! plus we had to do coupling and fifth wheel.

Well I passed my instructor was smiling from ear to ear right along with me , I told her I was so nervous and she knew but did I did awesome. Feels good to have that accomplished now on to the Backing!!! I start tomorrow one on one for an hour. Just gotta remember to keep calm.

Thank you Kim! Same for you, Hope to hear about your training soon. Army/ Chris I'm attending a community college in my area. I received a grant to go there, I felt at the time this was better for me instead of going to a company CDL school.

Ok so we started on pretrip not much happening with that our instructor gave us our papers to study after a run through of her doing it first. We've all just been going over the truck 1 at a time practicing. The in -cab part was nerve wracking for me but I'm over coming that finally! lol One guy here has it all down path and has been helping everyone else out. Two tested yesterday both passed it. The one guy who has it down path went first. Not much has went on except each person taking turns on the pre- trip. I feel confident with it and will test next week. We we're out of class today. I'm so ready to get this over and start on the backing and driving! I keep reading about everyones training and mine is so different here or maybe I'm just thinking it is. Anyway Good Luck to everyone starting their journey!!

Hi Monika I'm in week 2 of training also Hang in there we can do this!! you will pass your test. I felt the same way with the permit written test but the high road training on here really helped me ! So far the pre trip is getting to me not including the heat lol Best of luck to you! Breathe and stay focused that's what I'm trying to do also!
