Starting with CRST

Thank you for all this info! A couple of those things I hadn’t thought about. I’m just worried about getting on the wrong bus. There are two stops in Chicago and Davenport.

Jessica M. Hello, okay for as what to bring with you. Pack 7-10 days worth of clothes shirts and pants and probably two weeks worth of socks and under clothes. (Remember your clothes can worn more than one time between washes) You've going to want to bring hygiene items. Pens black and blue ink A note book. Shoes two pair (no cowboy boots) Flip flops for the shower or walking around the community areas. There is shopping and restaurants with in walking distance of the hotel. A shuttle goes to wal mart twice a week on Tuesday and Friday.

Breakfast is from 4:30am till 6:30am. It consists of fruit loops, brunch crunch, rice crispies and raisin bran. You also have a choice of toast and oatmeal. There is this brown water substance which they claim is coffee it's available 24 hrs a day. Lunch at the cedar Rapids school was served 11:30 am till 1pm. Good luck at school keep us updated

Starting with CRST

So this happened super quick. I’ll be leaving Sunday at 2:45am and right now I’m trying to figure out any extra stuff I should bring and stuff to take care of beforehand. At least the trip to Iowa shouldn’t take too long. Figure I’ll do some studying on the ride.

Clothing

I want to know too! I normally wear like yoga pants. Is that ok and what do I pack for training? Can it have logos? Like 100% of my shirts have logos.

Hey ladies, I’m getting ready to start packing for CDL training and was wondering what do you wear OTR? I was going to pack jeans but then I know they can sometimes be uncomfortable? Any time I ever took a road trip I would wear my workout pants because they are comfortable but also don’t know if that’s appropriate? Please help?!

New to this

Soooo I’ve been debating becoming a driver for a long time and I’m looking into it now. Mainly I’ve been talking with Roehl because I can’t wait a check, but I digress. I’ve gotten an email from the recruiter telling me to get in touch when I’m ready for the dot and the permit test but she’s terribly hard to get ahold of. Can anyone tell me how long the process takes? I mean if I get those two things done by next week, will I be starting that next week? I want to start ASAP though of course I’m also worried because I’m not very strong and I need to like pull and push a thing. I can prolly do it I’m just nervous about getting out to WI and like falling over during a squat and being sent home you know!
