Medical Waiver

Does anyone know anything about medical waivers and hazmat endorsements? I live in Texas and had my left foot amputated, I’m trying to go back to work. I haul hazmat and my company wants to hire me back, I sent in all the paperwork needed for my medical waiver and the state said they would grant the waiver but strip me of my hazmat endorsement. No endorsement, no job. I’m trying to appeal the decision but I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
