So i am a little stressed out, and this could all be just in my head but i was hopeing someone could tell ne what they think. A little background I've been with prime for almost 2 years now. Previously i went into a ditch in my first winter experience didnt hit anyone was my fault i was going too fast no dmg to the truck trailer or cargo, about a year later i rear ended a lady who made a right turn from the middle lane no turn signal or anything and she was possibly drunk took off before the cops could get there no license plate, no insurance. It was deemed unpreventable. Now the other day i missed my turn so i was making a left turn down a narrow road and i had to make a 90 degree turn because i had to get into the parking lot that would be immediately to my right while i was making this turn an elderly lady come up from behind me and i got to watch in horror as she didnt slow down and rammed right into the back half of my trailer. Now i dont know what i could have done to prevent this other then not make the turn althought i believe if i had been stopped she would have rear ended me anyway. Luckily she was not hurt but she is stating i hit her somehow? I am worried because when it comes to left hand turns the driver doing the turn is normally found at fault, and i dont know if i will lose my job with prime if i for some reason the police say i was at fault. Should i actually be worried? If i am at fault am i for sure fired?

Day 1 in the books let's review, got there around 7 there was a line for shuttles there. We filled out paperwork for payment direct deposit etc. Then off to drug tests. I was the 2nd to last to go the guy after me took an hour to go to the bathroom so we had to wait for him to go do our physicals. Once that taken care of we went got out physicals everything went well no issues but I will need to take a sleep apnea test so kinda worried about that. How much is it? If I fail how much is the machine? Is that taken out of my check before or after taxes? Questions I'll need to ask today. Anyway got back to the terminal for lunch. Catering was good you get a list of salads and sandwiches I got the combo salad and sandwich was pretty good. After lunch we went and did cputer based training for the last 3 hours I think I got half way done before we had to leave. Met CK on my way out ( ha take that PT) and apparently I just missed rainy? ( I hear rumors of capture unsure if this is bad or good thing lol). CK seemed like a cool dude. Got back to the hotel had nachos off the manager menu which was bigger then my head large portions for sure. Talked to a few fellow students in my class about cr England's pay raise places we wanna go etc. Then went to my room laid there and fell asleep. Looking forward to today I believe we're finishing paper work and CBT today should be a lot less running around but we shall see haha. Till next time!

We'll update here. Finally made it after 18 hours the last 4 hours really killed my knee and my butt that's for sure lol. Met up with pt and talked seems like a cool dude finally got to the hotel at 7:30 went had breakfast then passed out will 3:30 since I didn't get any sleep on the bus really. Just met my roommate didn't seem the friendliest but I think he was just in a bad mood. Ima spend today watching the SB and doing pre trip studies looking forward to tomorrow!

Well currently on the bus from Bakersfield to Vegas and then from Vegas to SLC. Bus isn't terrible got plug instead wifi air conditioning I couldn't ask for much more tbh. Weather is a worry as it seems it will be raining the whole trip there on and off. I have been studying the pre trip, watching arrow, and trying to comfort loved ones since I left. My hopes are I just don't get set home for anything stupid haha.

Exciting news I was finally accepted by Prime! I shall be heading out on the 4th to get started with orientation. I have a mixture of emtions from excitement to anxiety lol. A lot of changes will be happening soon and I just hope I can roll with the punches and make this work. I have already started studying primes version of the pre trip just to give myself something to do. I looked at the bus route and it's gonna be about a 25-30 hour ride... Train isn't much better being a 21-25 hour ride. If I had the money I perfer to go by train but I don't think that will happen haha. Anyway thank you all for keeping up with me hopefully next time I post it will be of me finally getting there!

Jim Palmer said they cant do it cause u applied 4 months ago (before i had my permit to test the waters) and it "didnt go through" and the only other one is a team only company im not interested in team unless i HAVE too. there is CR England but i would like a company that pays for everything due to money issues. all other companies ive contacted dont hire in my area right now :/

Its been 4 days since i told my prime recruiter i was ready and got my permit for SLC and my work history apparently is still being verified. Im not sure if this is something that normal takes this long or longer but its got me a little worried cause i have heard you need 18-24 months of Work history in the past 3 years at least. I'm worried because i was with my previous job for 20 months while doing uber and lyft on the side and 2 month past me quitting this job. i am worried i may have quit too soon because my recruiter is talking about "exceptions" and stuff and im not feeling too confident or shes not sounding very confident. I could be worrying about nothing but i just figured i would ask if this is normal to calm myself down i suppose lol.
