I truly do appreciate everyone on here that does or does not apply, thanks to every for Honest opinions, my dad drove a truck when I was growing up ftom a baby til right after I got my drivers license at 16, but he has passed on to hauling clouds and angels around for the big man above that watches over all of us. Ever since I was a kid watching him in action pulling in, taking off, riding with him over the years, it's been the only dream I have ever had and my kids are everything in the world to me and I just cant see not seeing them every 2 or 3 weeks or around about it just for a day or two. I just cant see walking out the door and not seeing them girls for atleast 4 weeks each and everytime I walked out that door.

Yes sir G-Town I understand flexible and my recruiter told me that the "14th day" could turn into "#15, 16, 17, 18 day, but would never reach 21" And I told I her I understand situations arise and I understand that and that i will do what I have to and that I was ok with staying out up to 21 every once in awhile and she said that would totally be up to me. But what I was asking sir, was are they ok with me running that "14ish" with a day or two off like they advertise or do they just "advertise" 11to14 out, 3home to get u there, then expect u to run 3to4 weeks at a time. Like I said Prime said they would accept me and my situation "as far as tickets" but they said a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks out before home time everytime and that's not for me each and everytime I walk out the door. Yes sir CT. , I tried Maverick I got shot down right off the bat. I know It is bad but i was Never charged for reckless driving even though I know it's considered reckless driving but I got a 50 in a 30 "this one is the first one to be forgiven off my record this coming August" and the other one is a 77 in 65. I never went to court, though I don't deny the speeding tickets, I could have had them reduced as far as my record goes, maybe? Roehl was like the 20 something one I had called and I was ready to give up right before calling them, I had actually told my wife this is last one I'm trying. And I am thankful u are spending time to reply CT.

Like Bruce K. said "Roehl is now giving hometime?" I mean they offer the 11/14 out 3 off and like I said I understand the 14 can turn in to a few extra days and the 3 ain't a full 3/24 hour days but I mean they shouldn't be trying to screw me with if I get it done and do it right during those 14 days on the road and I complaining if the 14 turns in to a few extra days should they? I mean it's not going to prime and them telling me it's a minimum of 4weeks out and I'm trying to see my kids or go home after 14 days. Its Roehl is offering the 11/14 out with "potential of a few extra days" . Thanks for your time, hope I'm making sense typing this out.

Thanks for your reply PJ! I understand that hometime doesn't always come the same everytime and u dont make money at the house but I just cant see not seeing my little girls at all for four weeks everytime I go out, I could every once and awhile but not everytime. And yeah my recruiter seems like a pretty straight forward lady, I had talked to her about it and she said that yes most freight is midwest that most would be in that area for like your first part of the run then they would figure out a way more toward the end of the run to get back home. With that being said and I know drivers have to be flexible and hometime wont hit the same all the time and the period u are home can be shorter than they say or the time before. But with their National Flatbed Fleet they offer 11/14 out with 3off, as and experienced driver yourself do u think that if I wanted to get home to see my kids before 19 days that I will have a problem with like dispatch/FM? I mean since they offer the 11/14 out with 3off and that's what I'm accepting with acknowledging that "14th day" can turn into 15,16,17, 18 due to certain unforeseen circumstances and that's understood, I mean like me wanting to make it bake to my kids every couple of weeks for a day or two should b ok right? I mean that's their offer so they shouldn't be wanting me to run 3 and 4 weeks at a time should they?

Yes sir I understand and I appreciate your reply. I know it's not strictly a certain day or time that the driver would go home each time "I understand 3 days home is not 3 whole 24 hour days to" The recruiter told me that Roehl flatbed national fleet operated or tried to operate as close to 11to14 with 3 days home and she did say it was always 14 most likely and that it might be a extra few days at times and I'm ok with staying out 21 sometimes and 3 days home but she said no, that only if that was my choice to stay out extra I could but if I was 11 to 14 like and that it went past 14 it could go 17 but wouldn't get up to 21 unless that's what I chose that particular time. It's just most people u see talking about Roehl flatbed are always in midwest or from that area. I did see a post where a man was running with Roehl and was hitting TN, the Carolinas, KY area but it was posted like 5years ago. Its like midwest is their hot spot was and that's ok but it seems like it would hard to get back home right where Ala runs up into Tn on I65. I have seen alot of posts on here that a good bit of people say they do good about their hometime for the most part like u said and I agree it's not always going to happen but will happen with a few days of when it was suppose to happen. I was told by Prime it's a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks out and I just dont want that with these two little girls at home, I dont mind staying 14, 17, and up to 21 sometimes but a Minium of 28 and up ain't for me at this point.

New member but through Google most of my research about trucking companies has brought me here everytime no matter what question I have and have read/learned a lot from post and comments from everyone on y'all seem like a big family on here I like it how this world was meant to be lend a helping hand to your brother when needed. I live in mid south Tn on the Ala border I'm joining the Roehl flatbed group In April, I know there is alot of comments on here about Roehl, it wasnt my first pic but with a 77mph in 65mph and a 50mph in a 30mph all other skateboard companies denied me but it seems like Roehl was a good fit for me through speaking with all recruiters elsewhere before mentioning the tickets, sorry for long post.. Heres my question my Roehl is nice and helpful but in the end they get paid to do their job for the company and she says hoetime will be 11/14 with 4 home. Does anyone live in Tn and get home easy? Do they have alot of freight around my area southern middle Tn? I know they got alot of midwest freight, and any one Roehl flatbed national fleet do they keep u in mid west of the time it seems to be the hot spot for Roehl, thank u for anyones comments and my apologies for the long post
