I am a bit confused. Your title says you are looking for a company that does not require you to have had a drivers license for a year, you say you are studying for your CLP, and that you have had your license for year. Then you say you have been turned down by a few companies for not having your license for a year. All a bit confusing.

I'm sorry about that, that's what I get for typing up a post right when I get off work and before bed! I've only had my driving license for 6 months.

Hello all! I'm wanting to get started in a career with trucking, but I'm noticing a lot of companies require you to have had a regular license for a year or two. I'm currently studying for my CLP, but I've only had my driver's license for a year. I'm from the south and never really have had a reason to get a license until I stopped commuting to work. I'm over 21 so I'm a bit late on getting my driver's license haha.

Applied to a few companies and got turned down due to not having my license for a year. Really bumming me out and I'm not wanting to spend too much longer at the job I'm at now. Thank you for any responses.
