More fridge help please ;-)

That is by far the best answer I have seen. I've been looking through the manual and also have found the load control/shedding should shut down electrical use to allow enough power to start the truck. Would it shut down the inverter as well?

Yeah it was reading about 93-95 around Red**** Fl yesterday. I got a message from my DM that I could idle while I rest(10hr break) but not when it's not in use. I've been on my break since I got back finishing my load about 3am this morning and am picking up after midnight tonight...the step testing of the batteries does sound like a great place to start. How long should i run the truck in between the off times?

Hey folks so I set up my fridge and have it all plugged in and working...only set on about mid temp. How often should I idle my truck and for how long to ensure I dont drain the batteries down. I'm in a 19 international LT. And from what I have looked at there is no kind of optimized idle /auto-start option...unless I have missed it.

Do I just need to crank it and let it run every so often?

Where to put my fridge???

After thinking about it more...and then seeing yours also I came to a similar conclusion to putting it up top. This way the door opens fully. Thanks!

You can go with the top bunk, OR

take a cabinet out, then strap it to the floor. I use only one strap when the top bunk area is utilized and never had a problem with it moving.

The one in the photos is 30" in height.

Where to put my fridge???

Hey yall so I finally got back in my 2019 international and am financially able to put a fridge in...I've been looking at my size options and now am stumped as to where to put it. On the floor I've got a closet cabinet on one side and brawers with the pull out table on the other. Space between the lower and upper cabinets are minimal. I di have a fixed top bunk with plenty of unused space that would work...would securing it in the center of the top be dumb?? I've got plenty of "free time" to pick one up and put it in today. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

Going solo!

Well just an update...the DEF pump sensor head went bad and had to be replaced...under warranty at least...but truck has been in the shop for about a week and was fortunate to use a loaner from the DC. Its finally ready to be picked up and am now trying to work around my loads and time it just right to pick it back up and get it rolling again. This loaner, while grateful to be in a truck and still rollin, needs to go lol...I'm finding myself more and more comfortable with the bells and whistles layout in it, which is a sign I need to get back into mine haha!!!

Going solo!

Well during my last 2 hrs back to the DC early this morning my CEL light came on and shortly after that my refill DEF light came on as well...definitely must have a faulty float sensor or something cause I literally stopped it off before I left. The gauge was flipping back and forth. All other gauges and reading were normal. I stopped and looked up the Cummins CEL codes and it ready as an abnormal temp/level code. Made a note to get it looked at and continued in my way. About 15 minutes from the DC I got a SCR error: torque derate 25% message...its all due to my DEF tank sensor...sitting at the International shop in Valdosta, Ga waiting for their diagnosis now... and I was sooooooo close to getting another quick load for my remaining 8hrs...but safe by choice, not by chance!

Going solo!

Well last night I sat at the DC on the off chance something would go down and they needed a standby driver. I got a call just after midnight and the dispatcher asked if I really wanted to run a load out this morning. I said absolutely! I didnt come down there just to be *idle*(see what I did there). Pensacola, Gulf Shores, and Mobile. Yeah I'll take that!
