So....can we get some updates Ladies in trucking????

I am a woman in late my 50s. Been doing a desk job last 20 years but thinking about switching careers. Not really buff (read this as too much over weight) but I am healthy. Some arthritis etc. I am a cautious driver who didn't learn until I was 35. (Long boring story.) I am often timid in my driving but don't have any accidents and don't do alcohol or drugs. Driving can be at times scary to me and I still don`t back up well. Sometimes left and right confuse me. But I also sometimes love driving and have done a lot of driving in my various jobs. I think I could learn to drive truck and enjoy it but am anxious to try something so new to me. I worry about the physical aspects of this career. Can anyone give me advice or suggestions?
