What happened was I was making a left turn at a traffic light and the light turned yellow. The woman I hit instead of stopping sped up and I started to turn. It was ruled my fault and I was cited in an oddly phrased way something about improper left turn failure to yield. We both were checked out at the hospital but it was bumps and bruises. Her van was very old and I'm sure it was totaled. My car was a 2016 Honda Civic and it was totaled. About 2016 or 2015 I had a ticket for driving on expired license plates. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Hey everybody! I had an account here around 2016 or so, but I don't have access to that email address so this is a new account for me. I had researched everything back then and and was pretty sure I wanted to get into Trucking and was going to apply to Roehl then, but then grandma needed me to take care of her.

I think I'm finally ready let me tell you where I'm at. The only job I really am qualified for and can do is security work. I am $200,000 in debt making $11 an hour. $100,000 of that that isn't dischargeable in bankruptcy as it is a student loan the rest is medical bills and a car that got totaled out last year that insurance wouldn't pay off due to a dispute with Uber. I have no hope of getting out of debt and no prospects. I could care less about how much I'm home as home is just a shack that didn't even have running water for 6 months until today. It's just me and a cat. Mom and dad live in town, but we see each other maybe once a month, and my love interest is a long distance relationship I haven't seen in 6 months. So I'm pretty much desperate at this point in time for a career change that will get me in the middle class. I don't care about home time.

I have a lot of soft skills like being friendly and neat and clean but no real skills I could earning a living with. I'm a big guy and not in the Abyssal greatest of Health and that I could stand all day but I passed the DOT physical 2 years ago. I do need something where you sit most of the time, but I can get up and move around some. I thought about it a lot and it's time to enter Trucking. I want to go to school around the 1st of November. There's some loose ends to tie up here like getting a tooth pulled and some medical issues taken care of, and I want to train during the winter so I can have the trainer with me in the snow. I'm going to try to get on at Roehl or Wil Trans. Roehl is my first choice because they have a training program that suits me great if that you're employed from day one, have a pet policy that's nice, and I can have a rider. The pay seems good to. I would also hope to eventually move into Regional routes so I can stay away from the East Coast. Wil trans from what I understand mainly operates out west and the Midwest so that would suit me perfectly and they have a good pet policy. Does anyone know would one year old at-fault accident no criminal history and only one ticket in the last 7 years which was for having expired license plates keep me from operating with either of these two companies? I have other questions but I'll ask them later. Thanks a lot.
