DOT Drug Testing: Urinalysis or Hair Follicle?

Awesome you guys!!! Keep em coming in! The list is growing and I've gotten a couple of private messages also so here's the list right now:

Hair follicle test only:

Just came from CRST Malone/Flatbed Solutions: I passed UA and failed Hair Follicle for pre employment. I have prescribed medication from the VA that states: Metformin is recognized by the DOT for the control of diabetes and in some individuals it will produce a "positive" on a drug screen for methamphetamines. So hopefully when I appeal these test results this will be removed from any of my reports that are requested by future employers. Due to Hair Follicle Testing NOT being mandated by the DOT, by CURRENT Law, Rules and Regulations they CANNOT put ANYTHING WHATSOEVER on my DAC, PSP, CSA Scorecard. One more thing to mention about this incident. Due to Hair Follicle testing not being mandated (required) by the DOT or the FMCSA for pre employment or even a random, I do NOT have to submit to a SAP or follow a return to duty process. If I'm wrong with any of this information, please guide me to the correct path.
