In the early 1920's C.G. "Boss" Wilson utilized a Model T pick-up truck to haul products from the Wilson farm to the metro marketplace. Boss realized the need for a more timely, reliable and consistent cargo transportation service and provided such to neighboring farmers and businesses. As Wilson Trucking grew, second generation son; C.W. "Buddy" returned from flying World War II aircraft over foreign airspace in the 1950's and led the organization through the decades of the 1990's.
The continual growth of the company was carried forward into the new millennium with 3rd generation sons C.L. "Chuck" Wilson, Chairman of the Board and C.E.O., and T.G. "Guy" Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board, at the helm.
With over eight decades of profitability, Wilson Trucking's financial status provides stability necessary for long-term security in the competitive business environment. The Wilson fleet and terminal network is company-owned and operated.
No DUI or DWI for 3 years. No license suspension or revocation for more than 30 days in the past 3 years.
Pickup & Delivery routes minimum age 21, Line Haul, Intermodal, & OTR minimum age 23.

Wilson Trucking Corporation is a Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regional LTL carrier with national capabilities. Next day LTL service is available to and from points within MS,TN, AL, GA, FL, SC, NC,VA, WV, MD,DE.
Service to other parts of the U.S. through Partnership Areas is offered on outbound freight originating from within Direct Service Area.
Wilson has the following home time options available:
OTR drivers are home most weekends, Intermodal, Linehaul, and P & D home daily or almost daily.
