New CDL Driver looking for advice

Perfect Thank you so much, Be safe Appreciated

Howdy, Mike A., and welcome to Trucking Truth~!!

If you read NONE of this post; start here: Apply For Paid CDL Training

Big Scott's recommendation of checking into CFI is spot on; CFI DRIVE; James tells it like it is,also.

CRE, Swift, and SNI are fine companies, as well; all train 'differently,' however. We have members for ALL 3 here; search by tags on the company! G'Town is a Moderator here, and has driven for Swift for 6 years. Erroll is a moderator as well, and has driven AND trained for Swift. Big T is currently a trainer for Swift; and has driven with them for awhile.

Have you checked out 'OUR' links on here, and also ... our starter kit, so you ARE well prepared?!?!?

In addition to the three companies YOU mention; we have a QUICK, ONE & DONE application, to MANY other companies; I'd suggest this link, to get started ASAP, and PAID ASAP~!!!!

Here you go: You'be on the road in NO time, if all checks out with your background & history, Mike!

Wish you the best, sir.

Check this^^^^^OUT; you'll be glad you did!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by no surprises, but I think I can guarantee that the experience of becoming a professional driver will be full of surprises, not least the things you learn about yourself. And there will be bad experiences, but also many positive ones. As has been discussed on numerous threads in this forum, the way to succeed is to approach your training with a humble willingness to learn and complete commitment. Truthfully, you can go into a good training program and get a less-than-good trainer, or vice versa, but the main determining factor in your success will be you, your adaptability, and your effort. All the training programs you mentioned, and plenty others, have produced successful drivers. Check out the training diaries on the forum to read about people's experience at these companies, but remember, every good or bad review, etc., is a single person's perspective, and shouldn't be taken as anything more. Good luck and welcome!
