Not saying you need a three piece suite on.. But look neat & clean take a shower every night cause done smell some driver that made me throw up brush your teeth one customer gave a driver a packet of gum cause his breath was stink... Start wearing clean clothes... Just take pribe in your job & stop leaving like a beast that goes for the new & the old....Get in shape excrise seen some drivers that can barely walk & talking about they suger or blood pressure high it's crazy how drivers take there health for granted but it starts with repecting yourself & loving yourself and living for more than driving a truck cause the company can put another drive in the seat & put safety first your health

The New Generation of Truckers

The new generation of truckers is funny. They were flip flops & basketball short. Not professional at most of them are out of shape. The new generation of Truckers take no probe in being a professional driver or themselves.

Which companies have driver facing cameras?

This is second hand my buddy told me they will call driver's in for a safety review. He said they had him on camera ****ing in a bottle & said he's a distracted driver. Like I said this is second hand. When he cover up the camera they call him and tell him his camera is covered.

Carroll Fulmer have driver facing cameras & monitor drivers all day. Safety is always watching you.

They would need an office that looks like a television studio to do that. You would need walls of monitors and a whole lot of manpower, not to mention about $10 million dollars a year in satellite bandwidth to keep the continuous feeds coming in.

Normally these cameras are monitored by outside companies who get alerts sent by the truck's computer to notify them of a possible incident.

How do you know they're monitoring everyone all the time?

Information onon Dart Transit & LandairLandair Transport

double-quotes-start.png

I have a job offer from both companies running the southeast regionalregional. Both offer weekendweekend homtimhomtime. One paying .40 per mile the other .44 per mile. But I need more information on the two companies before I make a decision. Please help me!

double-quotes-end.png

Dart is headquartered in Minnesota.....where I am from, I was going to sign on with them until I got a better offer from Werner. I have a friend who is a fleet manager their, but he is on the O/O side. I like the vacation package 1 WK aft 1 yr, 2 WK after 3 yr, and 3 weeks after 5 years, but I am a newbie out of school so they don't tell us the pay experienced drivers get.

Not much info, but something anyway

Thanks Driver
