DOT Drug Testing: Urinalysis or Hair Follicle?

I have smoked MJ in the past 3 months. I am currently in a school to obtain my CDL, I will be purchasing a truck and work as a o/o and work Intermodal in Chicago. Will I have any problems?

Am I missing something here or are you a new driver that plans on purchasing your own truck ASAP? I hope you've got some mentors or received some form of counsel because that COULD BE a very bad idea. I know nothing about you, so I don't know your situation or your background, but besides being a professional driver (which doesn't happen automatically when you graduate CDL school) and having a knowledge of the trucking industry, you'll need to have some business experience to be successful. I'm writing this with a genuine interest in hoping you succeed not just as an o/o, but as a professional driver. I'm not trying to be negative. Hopefully this doesn't come off as presumptuous.

I have 6 family members all O/O in chicago in intermodal for 8+ yrs experience each one. They are all older than me and never smoked MJ, I dont want to tell them that I smoked in the past because its non of there business. I have been riding along with them for the past 3 months knowing the ins and outs of the rail yards here in the midwest. That is why I will be purchasing my own truck to drive because of what I been seeing with them. I am just concerned about me having smoked in the past and it affecting me wanting to get in the trucking industry.
