We need TT stickers for our trucks

I'm not sure we can use any truck image that is manufactured....its infringement....so someone will have to get arsty and draw one !!!! I still make stick people...so I'm out...

You go on google and do an image search. Then go under the search tools, there's an option for usage rights. If you select something labeled for reuse/reuse with modification you'll be in the clear. Or if you don't mind spending a little money you can probably find a piece of stock art or a stock photo with no royalty rights, but a small purchase fee.

Help..before start doing anything

As long as your not injecting insulin you should be fine. I think that's it. As long as you have it under control without injections that is. The others can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain on this.

Prime Time, June 9th

I've seen a couple people on here set to head out for this coming week..Count myself among them, and am excited to hit the ground running.dancing-banana.gif

I'll be catching the Dog outta Cleveland Saturday afternoon, and will be in Springfield bright and early Sunday.dancing.gif Hard to believe in 4 days I'll be going....So much to do I'm not even sure where to begin...but I've always been a good Procrastinator anyways.

Thanks to all those at TT for the great info and stories.thank-you.gif I'll try to follow suit with the others and List my experiences on the site for those to follow.

Back to the others headed out....How about a sound off of those headed out, make it a TT meet and greet there.

(I'm addicted to the smileys here rofl-3.gifrofl-1.gifrofl-2.gif )

Exit the Shadows...Enter into a PRIME time

Just picked up my shiny new CDL Permit today. dancing.gif

I'm just mad it took me 2 days. Of all the tests I took, ie: Gen Knowledge, Air Brakes, Combination, and Tanker.....I failed the tanker test the first time. shocked.png Went back today and flew through it.dancing-banana.gif

I will say that the High Road Training Program would be a great tool...unfortunatly my brain just wasn't getting it. confused.gif So I went to the BMV and got the book (Maybe I just needed to see the Hard Copy). Then I used Brett's Mobile App and practiced the questions. thank-you.gif This seemed to be the better option for me.

Either way, looks like I'm one step closer to being ready to head out there. June 9th can't come soon enough!smile.gif

Bluetooth Anyone

The woman uses a Plantronics as her main headset but also has a BP in her truck as well. She loves her Voyager and says it sounds great.

She didn't mind the BP but she wanted something "that looked better". She keeps the BP in her truck and allows her Trainees to use it, or uses it as a backup if hers dies.

I'm kind of hung, I tried them both but didn't actually have a ton of noise to test out the noise canceling...but I can say when I talk to her both are clear as day.

Road Atlas

From what I heard the Rand McNally Motor Carrier Atlas Is the best choice. Spiral Bound and Laminated. In fact RM has the 2014 version at just about Half Price right now.

Exit the Shadows...Enter into a PRIME time

Well all, I've known this for a few days but I've been fighting the fact that my apartment got flooded during Monday's storms here in Northern Ohio. To top it off I've been Evac'ed until they can clean all the mess up.

Now on to the good news...

I've been approved to join Prime. As is stands the plan is to head out and start June 9th.
