Here is the number to DAC, also known as Hire Right.
1-800-331-9175.
You can dispute the information on your report in writing. From what I understand they have 30 days to confirm the charge with the company or it will be removed....At least that's how it use to work.
Good luck, K.

Your beliefs seem to line up with a company in Cuba, Alabama called McElroy Truck Lines. They also abide by the Friday at sunset till Saturday at sunset timeline. You may want to check them out.

As for the companies, well, that is their prerogative and I guess I got lucky.
I wouldn't want to make any assumptions here, so I will ask. Are you saying that your company doesn't have a firearm policy that prohibits them in their equipment?

Tony, Until you get 6 full months over the road, they sort of treat you like your brand new. New hires with no experience are with a trainer for 6-8 weeks. Although most people get their own truck at the six week mark.
Average mileage varies some due to your area of operation and your fleet manager. If your out of Illinois, you can probably count on 2000-2500 miles per week. If you were down around Memphis where the freight lanes are heavier for us, you could be in the 2200-2900 mile range per week.
Averitt is an excellent company with great benefits. Low cost medical, dental, vision, 401 K plan and profit sharing. 8 paid holidays after 6 months I believe. It has changed some in the past. Ask your recruiter about that.
They are also giving out raises now, unsure about the Truckload division to he honest, I am on the LTL side of things, again ask your recruiter about the pay scale.
One of the biggest advantages is the ability to move into a local (LTL) job where you can be home daily in the future if that is what you want to do.
Hope this helps. If you need anything else, I would be happy to help.
Good luck my friend.

Try this if you have a 10 speed manual transmission. Keep an eye on your speedometer...Like this: at 15 mph, 1+5=6, so at 15 mph your truck should go into 6th gear. At 25 mph, 2+5=7, so at 25 mph your truck should go into 7th gear. At 35 mph, 3+5=8, so at 35 mph your truck should go into 8th gear. At 45 mph, 4+5=9, so at 45 mph your truck should go into 9th gear.
It only works for 15,25,35 and 45 mph. Just add the first two numbers on your speedometer and adjust your RPM's as needed. This technique should get you in the ballpark to find your gear. Remain calm and take the tach through it's range till you find your gear.
Hope this helps.
