I-70 Colorado mountains

Hey guys!

So today is my 3rd day of being out with my mentor! I got to drive through the rocky mountains through the vail pass. It was pretty intense! It was night time, raining, and a lot of steep hills! I was wonder if this route in general is considered a difficult route? Although beautiful scenery I'm not gonna lie my palms were sweating haha

Swift Transportation - Reasons To Be Sent Home?

I was wondering: What are some of the major reasons why people get sent home from trucking school? Do the Swift Recruiters do a thorough background check before they send you to their school first?

Blood Pressure

Does Swift have a resting heart rate policy? Like a too high or too low? I know the BP for getting hired on with swift needs to be controlled/treated to be at 140/90. What about RESTING HEART rate?

What happens if your blood pressure is too high

My BP was 142/72, I got sent home from trucking school. I was given a letter to give to my doc but I am unsure how long it will take for him to treat me, or say that Im okay, and sign off the letter. Does anyone think I can get my 3 readings of blood pressure within a week and then get my doctor to sign off the letter to say i dont have high blood pressure? Never had it be that high until the test, normally its 110-120 tops. What is the process exactly?

Do I have to take Class C renewal Test? (California)

So I have to take my CDL permit test this Thursday here in California. So I hear i have to take the CLASS C, then since I have an M1 I also have to take the M1 exam, then the CDL-A.

MY question: Will they charge me extra for the Class C and M1 exams? Or will it all be just one fee?

Hair Follicle Test for Swift

I have no head hair, or body hair, ZERO. All I have is a beard about 2-3 inches. Does anyone know if a Swift examiner will accept facial hair for the hair follicle drug test? Hmm.
