Also as to how I like Werner they're OK. Good miles if you'll run and don't get burdened with someone else's failed pti job missing bad tires or gaping holes in trailers or outdated dot stickers. Yea I got stories there but they are good to me.

Its 275 hrs behind the wheel 15 observed days 1-3 another 15 for the next week but that's minimum. Logs are a big yes paper and elog. Backing (for me will mean I may back once a week trainee gets all they want and more) requirement is about 100 paperwork they want us to make sure you know how to scan and fill trip envelopes ( personally am adding mobile app scanning) I'm in the trainer seat to teach and make a little more not have a second logbook. If you or anyone goes Werner pm me anytime with questions I'm usually on here every few hrs during my drive ( I take two 30 minute breaks so I'm not sore from driving)

So I'm now a trainer for Werner enterprises. Just over a year and a half ago I came here for help getting my cdl. I can say this site helped me a whole lot. Just felt I should pop in and pass on the news. So anyone headed that way my truck is a red 2012 Volvo truck number 13999. Also if anyone sees me out there gimme a yell on the cb my handle is viking or walk up if my curtains open.

I had to quit recently aswell. I kept getting bad miles, 27 breakdowns over three months and was ran around for a week when I shouldve been at home. Doesnt help that I never got reimbursed for scale tickets or anything else. :/ But luckily this little chicken farmer had a backup. I'm starting with WERNER this coming week on a dedicated account and making almost double my pay with swift. So I'm pretty happy about this move. Glad you have a backup too David, maybe you'll get out here on the east coast again and I'll run into you at a stop.

with warm weather coming me and my lady have found swifts tight idling policy is going to be a warmm time. I've seen many trucks with generators and wondered are they legal? if so any suggestions to beat the heat besides opening all the vents and windows?
