I am seriously considering attending PIA's CDL program and would appreciate feedback from anyone who has successfully fulfilled requirements and is now working. Lost my job late September and drawing unemployment. Looking like if there was ever a time to undergo retraining, this is the time.

This is a excellent site and enjoy reading the various posts.

What's for supper???? Excellent idea with very practical safety concerns. Something else for a wannabee rook such as I to figure out. Used to use a small propane ultralight camping stove when we would go to the field. Key point as mentioned in a previous post, a treat but not practical on a daily basis. Gotta get inside a truck for a show and tell sometime, can't wait for school!

Hello Everyone,

At age 55 I will again reinvent myself-Have been a soldier, two way radio electronics tech, Private Security, Sworn Police Officer, cleaning company account manager and now have a visit scheduled with All State Career School in West Mifflin, a suburb of Pittsburgh. Divorced now, kids are young adults in college and want to get the hell outta here and make a decent living. It has been one thing or another with this economy making it very tough. Been considering private school against employee contract and am leaning towards going on my own. Figure I will basically be homeless while living out a moving box anyway, so I might as well get paid for it......I just discovered this site tonight and have enjoyed reading the many articles and postings. Please, tell me like it is and I welcome your feedback.
