As a trainer myself, It sounds like you need to find a new trainer. The training is about "YOU" the student not the trainer being in a hurry. The only way you are going to get faster with the Qualcomm or at backing is to actually perform the work. Bring it up with the company you are working for. If this guy will not make the adjustment to actually "train" you then it is time for you to find someone who will.

Just called this company, they seemed to think i needed to provide my social security number over the phone. I told them i do not provide sensitive personal information over the phone but if they would like to send me an application I would be more than happy to provide it. They hung up the phone. Listen folks, in this day and age never provide your SS number to someone over the phone, they could be on the other end of the line writing this info down in order to steal your identity.

Its a "reality TV show" which means certain part s are staged so take what you see with a grain of salt.

Accepted to Central Refrigerated Services CDL course but having reservations.
Scratch 6 days, now we only get 5 because the big wigs are here today and no training is allowed.
Very disappointed over the cost vs quality issue. This training would be over priced At $1000 IMHO.

OK got to salt lake and found out this training is not 2 weeks as I was led to believe. After only 6 days they are expecting us to test out for our cdl. I feel sorry for all these people with no experience as most will fail the tests.
I have prior experience and it feel s too fast for me I cannot recommend this training program to anyone without prior experience.

Afaik they can only charge you if you quit, not if they decide they don't want you. Time to read the fine print!
Well I want to do this and they stated I could not proceed without it so..,.. my beef was that the recruiter didn't say this info was needed. I have the printout of everything to bring and its not on it.

Well first day at school and hit a snag. They hand us an application and it asks for 8 reffs which I don't have. They want name, address. Phone for all of them. I complain about it and told either provide what is asked for or get sent home So....I put down the msmrs of 8 people I know and made up the rrdt of the info. Hope it doesn't come back to bite me.
The first week is a joke so far,all they do is give the answers to the cdl tests and basically help you cheat.
Sure hope the training in Utah is better than this.
Motel is OK , 4 people sent home already and only wed. School sits right next to a "head shop".

Ive been studying for the CDL with help from this website, seems about the best approach. Heading out tomorrow on the greyhound, hope the recruiter is correct about the paperwork and information i need to bring with me. Gonna be very hard to get anything sent out to kansas city or Utah from my house if i'm out there.

Considering Western Express
I called Western Express a few weeks ago, the person who answered asked for my SS# and i declined saying i was not comfortable supplying said information over the phone, but would be more that happy to give my SS# on an application. She hung up the phone on me at that point so not too sure about this company if they do not care about my personal information and or ID being stolen. Anyhow plenty of jobs out there for someone with a good record.
