Accepted to Central Refrigerated Services CDL course but having reservations.

No its central refrigerates service, also known as swift as they were bought out earlier this year by swift. Have my start date now and going to get the bus ticket later today. We'll see what happens.

Accepted to Central Refrigerated Services CDL course but having reservations.

Hello, talked to a recruited for Central and have everything set for the last of September, but i've been seeing a lot of negative posts about how they send people home after being at the school only a few days and/or send them home after training at orientation.

What i cannot seem to find are more of the reasons why they are being sent home. Don't want to sign a contract just to have them arbitrarily send me home then i own them $3000.

I have a clean record, nothing criminal at all but i did get a ticket last year for expired tags. Checked my MVR and it says no points were assessed for that. I put it on the application in the name of full disclosure so there would be no surprises down the road.

What i'm more concerned about is my employment history. For the last 6 years i've been working for temp agencies off and on and i have an employment gap of 2 years at 1 point. Does anyone think they would send someone home because of a long period of unemployment? I'm sure with the economy since 2008 they have seen quite a few people with extended periods of unemployment.

I really want to do this but i want to me sure there will be gainful employment when the school is over. Any advice would be most appreciated.
