It's official, got my CDL-A today

Congratulations! It is a lot of work, and I have a greater appreciation and respect for anyone with a cdl.

I am currently in school and have found out, you don't just get in and drive!

New cdl permit law

According to the FMCSR section 383.25 (e):

The CLP holder is not eligible to take the CDL skills test in the first 14 days after initial issuance of the CLP."

I do not believe this is new; maybe something the school realized they needed to enforce???
