well tomorrow is the last day of my first week at trucking school.. my tuition is being paid by the state so im very happy about that because upon graduation i can go anywhere and not tied down to just one company for a year. i started monday took my cdl tip tests on wednesday and passed first try yahhhh me. 7 questions wrong on general knowledge, 4 questions wrong on combination (close one)and 2 wrong on air brakes. just was told theres 2 companies in michigan that do local runs so im going for both because i have a 16 year old that i cant leave behind. Now next monday is the start of yard work. ive never touched a stick in my life and to get behind the wheel of a semi truck is soooooo scary. Ive driven an ambulance and an armor truck in my past life. how hard can it be? right lol.. im new on these forum and looking forward to learning as much as i can ffrom you ladies in the next 3 weeks :)
