[CRST] 5 month mark!

double-quotes-start.png

2 weeks in and a grand total of 4,000 miles for for my team. I have talked with 4 other people I went to school with and am hearing the same from them. I am really hoping that they are simply restricting miles during this 28 day training period because $140 a week is hard to swallow.

Currently in another 2-3 day wait for a load. It has to get better....

I'm with Crst to and freight is a little slow right now or was and now starting to pick up... last week in 7 or 8 days had 3 34 restarts... one of them couldn't help Cuz a Crst driver hit a traffic control device in Portland and every truck that was in Portland that day got grounded... we been moving since Friday and got two pre loads to Chicago then to New Jersey out of Atlanta

Thank you. What is a pre load and is it available to company drivers?

Finishing school on Thursday

As I understand it, wrapping up school = I will be sent to Atlanta to begin an orientation. I am concerned. I have still never spoken with anyone from the company up to this point and I am not exactly thrilled by the prospect of being forced to team drive with another student for my first year on the road. Did choosing to attend school lock me into a debt of thousands of dollars?

Is a year of safe driving a bare minimum before I can consider looking for a company that would allow me to drive solo?
