Hey all thank you so much I am very excited about this choice I made.

I just got settled in my new truck and am ready to go. I am very nervous. thank you again I will definitely be keeping you all posted even if it takes a while to get on here, since I don't have a charger for my comp. I charge it at pilots and terminals also hotels.

my pta is set for 8 am tomorrow but our terminal is so full I have a feeling I will not get dispatched tomorrow.

Thank you!! I am excited about this decision I am making, I wasn't with my trainer when I decided. I was with my teammate. and we were averaging just under 5,000 had a ton of good runs. we are just now starting to hit a lot of dead zones.

Well I been on the road with my teammate since Dec. 09 2013 and I think I am ready to try and go solo. this will be fun but scary at the same time, I still have issues with my backings but am getting better at it.

I have not been home since OCT. so I thought before I go solo I'd take a few days off and spend time with my boyfriend.

Sorry I have not been on the site much I have been so busy with my runs and once my shift is up I am so tired all I want to do is shower and sleep.

Sorry for such a short reply .... I've been very busy I'm so tired after I'm done driving I hardly pick up my phone at the end of the night. My backing issues is in making to wide of turns I do my goals though. Thank you all for the advice though I do appreciate it. How everyone had good holiday. ( I don't celebrate but my mentor does so I was hm for Thanksgiving I spent it with my boyfriend ķ who also celebrates .) I'm done on Sunday with my mentor I test out Monday.

Sorry I haven't been on here as much since I stated trucking my truck had been rolling 24/7 it seems since I hit that 50 hr mark. Some. How we got stuck on a dedicated run going all up n down cali. ( honestly I'm so sick of cali I want to drive to other states ) but my mentor has taught me a lot on this dedicated. Good thing about it is there never a rush to get the load on time. And gives me some time to practice my backings. (Which I really need to get down cause right now I am taking way too long to back. Some days I get it fast, other days I'm just horrible.) When I first stated we went to Oregon, Washington, Texas, Arizona. .... that was awesome. Can't wait to get back out there. I run my hours down to the last 15 to 30 min. A Day. By the time I'm done driving I am ready for a good stretch and then bed.

Well being out on open road is amazing!!! I love driving the big rig. only things I really am working on right now is the backing the trailers in and the hooking up to another one. other than that my mentor says I am doing great driving, I picked it up really fast. I never driven stick before I started driving. so that was very interesting to learn on a big rig

my mentor and I get along good too which is a major plus, he hasn't raised his voice at me when I mess up on something. things are going great.

Today in orientation I got a ton of great knowledge.

I don't hang out in my hotel room to often I get out and walk around.

So I did my first day of orientation yesterday, it was so boring our schedule said we were suppose to be in class from 7-4 and since I went through the academy along with 3 others in my class, us 4 got to leave by 9 30 am. all we had to do was our drug test and fill out some paperwork and watch 3 (15 min.) movies.

today we are suppose to be in class from 7-4 again I hope today isn't like yesterday. sitting in a hotel room by myself sucks.

I have decided for my first 2 years of being on the road, that I will be teaming with someone, and I just hope the best for the two of us.

I will post later today or tomorrow morning.
