Best Cell phone companies for truck drivers?
Verizon has the best coverage of any network but they're also the most expensive. AT&T is a close second in coverage and also very expensive. The others are cheaper for good reason - you're not going to get the coverage you will with the others.
Here is a great website called OpenSignal which will show you highly detailed coverage maps of all of the carriers.
This is true however wherever there is AT&T you get service with T-Mobile due to their joint contract deal to use each other's towers.

Something important for a sucesful back is your setup if you're not setup good it will suck use all your mirrors and don't get tunnel vision on one mirror and forget about the other. Stay calm breath and use your free pull ups and get out and looks remember once you graduate no one will make fun of you for pulling up and getting out to look if they do **** them and also a nice trick I do is hang out the window once you can pick your points and make small corrections and you'll be alright and if you feel stressed turn on some music while you back to help take the edge off

Small turns of the wheel are your best friend in backing. Don't over correct or you won't get back behind it and remember stay calm no one is born to back it takes lots of practice and repetition.

Best Cell phone companies for truck drivers?
Don't forget to check out T-mobile they offer unlimited talk/text/data for $80 a month. I talked to a driver at the yard the other day who had them and said they are pretty decent unless your going extremely rural.
I haul milk and I'm always really rural and have decent service even then I would recommend them to anyone. I pay like 150 a month for mine and my wife's phones.

T-Mobile is cheap and has great coverage and unlimited data Verizon and AT&T will you give the best coverage but have limited data and will be spendy cricket won't get you amywhere I had them before and couldn't ever get service if youre going OTR remember you won't always be in the best places so pick a good carrier. I would recommend AT&T or T-Mobile you'll have good Service just about every where.

I would talk to your company first and if they refuse to rectify it then I would sue them if you're being labeled as a trainer then you deserve the pay that goes with it. Also if you plan to sue I would advise finding a new company to drive for.

After 25 yrs. of local work, (thinking, only thinking) of going OTR
With 25 years of local I would stay away from the starter companies like swift, prime ect, if you want to make good money go with a mom and a pop but they will run you into the ground with how hard they'll want you to run. Starter companies don't pay **** so remember that. I stay away from the big companies because of this. OTR isn't bad just remember avoid shopping at truck stops stop I'm walmarts with truck parking and shop there.

If you want wifi stick away from the truck stop wifi it's expensive and slow as hell the later the night gets the slower it gets because everyone is on it and using it so it uses up the bandwidth. I park a lot at McDonald's that have truck parking and walmarts and use their wifi it's free and decently fast also some rest areas have wifi and they are usually decent as well.
