Medical insurance and the cost...
Let me start out with a little background on myself. I drove for a very large towing outfit in Birmingham Alabama for a little over four years. I was a Heavy Duty driver towing tractor trailers, garbage trucks, cement trucks etc. and ran our lowboy and drop deck trailer in the South East. I havent driven commercially since 2010 so I'm having to re-visit some aspects of my training wherever I land.
In researching a multitude of companies I find that benefit information, more specifically cost of medical insurance is hard to come by. Some companies have been a little more transparent and by request have sent me info on who the insurance is through, the plans available, and the premiums while others will simply tell you that "We have several plans to choose from..."
I have narrowed my list of potential employers and all I'm lacking is some benefit info. If anyone on he has some specifics I would greatly appreciate it.
Family of Four, Husband Wife, and Two Children is what I'll be insuring. So basically Full Family Medical.
Looking strongly at Wil Trans/Jim Palmer etc., Prime, KLLM, and JBS
