Apparently there are some good driving habits to have when driving a big rig such as reading every road sign as you drive. What are other good bits of information that a good instructor would most likely teach?

Even though your getting a DOT physical now to get you testing done almost all companies will require you to get another one once you get hired on which the company will pay for as apart of the hiring process.
Then once you're hired with a company, you'll have two DOT cards? Which one is valid or are they both? And So now you have to keep two DOT Cards updated?

I have seen some youtube videos about Schneider trucking and it seams that the drivers are wearing company shirts. I don't know if this if for the video or all drivers have to wear company shirts. Just curious. Anybody know? Thanks Mark

It depends on the company. Make sure you ask.
Do the different situations have specific names?

When you're on the road with a trainer, does the trainer sit in the passenger seat and instruct (and then you both sleep at the same time) or does the instructor sleep while you are driving and drive while you are sleeping.
Thx Mark

If your truck has e-logs, does the driver also have to fill out paper logs or does the elogs take care of all of it. Someone told me that if you were stopped and asked to see your logs, you'd have to have paper logs even if you have elogs. Is this correct?
Thanx

Is Wifi at truck stops fast enough for streaming video/movies?
I highly doubt it. I've never tried it so I'm sure others will be able to chime in. But usually the truck stops have pretty slow internet and some will limit the amount of data you can send/receive.
So do truckers not stream video? or if they do, how?

If internet is not very important to you then I think T-Mobile is good. But if you like to do more than load a forum page then it would be too slow for you.

I'm puzzled with answer on Sample Hazmat Test
The hazmat sample test reads as follows:
"10. Your load includes 20 pounds of division 2.3 gas and .1001 pounds of flammable gas. What placard do you need?
A. Flammable B. Explosive C. Poison
⊟ Answer
B. Explosive
I told you this is a tough test. Know the rules about flammable gases. "
I am stumped. Should the question read 1,001 pounds instead of .1001 pounds and I have looked back at the information on the site and I do not see how B would be the answer. Would someone explain please. thanks,
