On the road with trainer

It depends on the company. Make sure you ask.

Do the different situations have specific names?

When you're on the road with a trainer, does the trainer sit in the passenger seat and instruct (and then you both sleep at the same time) or does the instructor sleep while you are driving and drive while you are sleeping.

Thx Mark

E-logs and paper logs

If your truck has e-logs, does the driver also have to fill out paper logs or does the elogs take care of all of it. Someone told me that if you were stopped and asked to see your logs, you'd have to have paper logs even if you have elogs. Is this correct?

Thanx

But... If anything did go down. I had my dash cam operating and it saw it all. So my back is covered.

What make and model dashcam to you have? How do you like it.

Is Wifi at truck stops fast enough for streaming video/movies?

double-quotes-end.png

I highly doubt it. I've never tried it so I'm sure others will be able to chime in. But usually the truck stops have pretty slow internet and some will limit the amount of data you can send/receive.

So do truckers not stream video? or if they do, how?

If internet is not very important to you then I think T-Mobile is good. But if you like to do more than load a forum page then it would be too slow for you.
