Vent. .. a little frustrated today

Sounds like there isn't any such thing as a perfect week out there, but I'd say all in all you had a d*mn good week!

What exactly is a service failure, and what are the consequences?

My experience so far in truck driver training

I've read about schools in here that are 10 week courses like the one you're in. I think that's excellent because students will come out of those schools with so much more experience and confidence than most. With all the trails and tribulations that folks talk about in here those first few months, you will be so far ahead of the game Jerry Q.

My training school in NC

I was in Ohio last week and if you have the kind of weather I had, you'll be good. But then again I'm from Florida and it's like hydrate or die down here about now. It was so nice to be able to drive with the window down last week.

Heading to McElroy Truck Lines

Thomas congrats my man.

I don't know enough yet to give you any specific advice, but I will remind you of what you have read in here a lot.

You are going to be going thru a learning process that can be uncomfortable and discouraging at times. Remind yourself often that everyone who drives has had to go thru what you are going thru.....to get to where they are now. It's kind of a badge of honor that you are going to earn just like everyone else.

Try to relax, have some fun and stay safe always.

Not many can do what you do, otherwise they'd all be doing it.

All those years thinking about doing this and now you are actually doing it! How cool is that, right? And you are going to kick butt at this just like you did at training.

Not a good day for truckers in Oklahoma

It always kinda stops me in my tracks (in a good way) when someone posts something like this, but I for one am sure glad people do. It helps keep the seriousness of what drivers do...more front brain!

Congratulations Chris! That does have to have you floating off the ground. You are ahead of me, I haven't started school yet, so I hope you do post going thru this. It helps folks like me.

Had a near miss during a storm

The theme for tonight seems to be expect the unexpected. And don't let your guard down. Spooky stuff.
