So how did it end up? Did you pay the money? Is that even legal?

Thanks Jerry, I think this is a different program here. Once the Feds fund it's about a week of processing till you get the money. My concern is with all the cutbacks with the current administration if there is indeed a problem with the funding. It's almost 2 weeks late now. There are a lot of people with various schooling interests in the program getting a bit nervous.

I may be overreacting but when they tell me mid to late July I start wondering why.

Hi All, Another newbie here. I am collecting U.I. benefits at the moment and have submitted the paperwork for a Fed. grant for schooling through the Workforce Investment Act (W.I.A) here in So Cal. I think having the tuition payed for will allow me to have more options as to which company to hire on with. The Feds have not funded yet which usually happens mid to late July.

This obviously has me a little worried. Has anyone heard of any delays or shortages of funds? Or is this our Government as usual.
