Two? Most companies have a three strike rule. Anything else occur?

That's what she told me I didn't ask her for the details I guess I should. Also they are going to put it on her DAC

Friend of mine needs a second chance

Hi all;

She was fired today for having 2 backing incidents within 90 days. Does anyone here know of a company that may take a chance on her

Ok, I am about 95% sure that is part of the sign on bonus you may have received or may still be currently receiving. Did they offer you one when you signed on with them? What account are you on? When I drove for them I was on their slip seat team account. I had a 5K sign on bonus I received over 6 payments and that was labeled Bounty Bonus on my stubs.

I am just a solo OTR driver no account an no sign on bonus. Not sure if I found any lost trailers I just drop the loaded ones and then find an mt in the lot but who knows maybe I found one next time I call my fm I will ask her.

Mm24 why did you leave Werner if I may ask

Can guard have my codriver wake me in order to sign some sign-in sheet while I need to be in sleeper?

@ Errol V. Wow that is interesting. I certainly did not know that. So hypothetically speaking, on my log I can be on-duty for 20 plus hours straight without any violation as long as I'm not driving? That's definitely new to me but thanks for the citation because I see it now.

And @Pianoman I guess you were correct after all. But yeah I did sign it while on sleeper and will continue doing it that way if I have to but it's just the hassle of having to wake up just to sign it and then try and sleep again that bugs me. We'll see what happens but if it comes down to it, I may consider buying a stamp where I can put signature on it and I'll just authorize my codriver to go ahead and stamp my signature every time he arrives. I know I'm going to lengths here but I cherish my sleep! lol

Wait till you get older and have to wake up to use the bathroom every 3 or 4 hours

Considering industry, looking for company recommendation

I would look at a private school or company school an forgo the college school personally.

As far as the major companies I don't think you could go wrong with any of them they all have good benefits packages and are willing to work with you on home time as long as you pull your end of the deal. Welcome to trucking I love doing this for the most part

Weekend dispatch

Thanks for the advice all. I guess I'm just alittle impatient but I just want to keep running since I'm out on the road. I did speak with my dispatch today as she came to work today an will be off tomorrow she told me pretty much what some of you said weekend dispatch isn't the cream of the crop an she would see that I was taken care of through the weekend from now on.

Thank you all for the advice

Weekend dispatch

First take the load they gave you as long as you can deliver it on time. Then later in the week talk to your regular dispatcher about it. Sometimes it could be a slow freight area, or it could be an internal problem. I had to wait an hour yesterday to get the dispatch information for the load I was planned on because of a computer glitch.

And consider it's weekend dispatch. Lots of times the night and weekend shift I'd the newest and most inexperienced of all the dispachers.

I took there load but am not going to move until my 10 hr break is over. It wouldn't be so bad if they would tell you something so you could go shower or shop for food but I just sit an hope the preassigned arrives an then when your 2 hours in waiting then you don't want to drive anywhere an have to start the 10 all over again it's frustrating to me
