Oh my gosh what else can go wrong??

Arrived at the Miller Coors plant in Denver tonight with 44000 pounds of beer and less than 20 minutes left on my 70, exhausted and ready to go home for a few days. I open the back to find beer scattered everywhere. My two load locks had fallen down and the two rear pallets had tipped.

Now I have to wait til morning since they didn't have the manpower to unload it tonight. What I don't get is how this happened. I tightened those loads locks quite a bit.

I really hope this streak ends soon cause I'm about to call it quits.

I have had the load locks fall before so what I started doing is after I install the load locks I also use a strap to pull in the trailer walls and it gives it a nice and tight fit and those locks won't fall again. The reason why they fall is because some of the trailers are old and have seen their fair share of load locks and eventually get bowed so that's why they fall.

Hourly pay

How much are you being paid per hour?

I work a hourly in running ports and I'm home every night.

Check with your DM and ask questions because this doesn't sound like hourly to me.

I'm getting $20 an hour

I did it!

I went and changed your status in your profile from "rookie solo driver" to "experienced driver" - that's gotta feel great!

Thanks Brett, that does feel awesome, and thank you to everyone else, it is a huge accomplishment in my book. Thanks again
