Driving background

I'm still driving my self crazy ove the dui thing, just tell them what they want to know right? no dui's in ten/5 years?

Two is a lot - but 10 years ago, may make you hirable, depending on what your driving/criminal history looks like since then.

As far as "expunge" goes - it may clear your driving record - but ANY TIME you've been arrested and printed, comes up on a criminal background, because a copy of those prints goes to NCIC (FBI) and that's FOREVER.

I know, because of dismissed charge from 28 years ago, that came up on a background when I tried to get a F.A.S.T. card - but was never questioned when I got my TWIC & HazMat.

What does location have to do with getting hired by a trucking company?

gotcha, how's things on the outside, You tube says celadon is going under, CFI is looking like my next option, they have either a graduate or inhouse training, . its a little difficult trying to pin these recruiters down, but I don't want to whine

"I'm not getting the TT queen rainy" It's a running Trucking Truth joke. She drives for Prime. When people meet her they say she locked them up in her dungeon.

the dui's are it, no felonies or phsyco issues, my work history is pretty bad in this economy, temp jobs for survival. Prime already shot me down last fall. Got a call from CFI this morning, I feel like a little girl or something, i don"t unemploy very well, it's like being on the Titanic, after the ice burg

At Prime you must be 10 years from completion of any felony. Each company is a little different. The main thing is you didn't lie on your application. If there is anything in your past they may find it. That doesn't mean it's an automatic fail. It is the company's discretion how they handle it. All I know is CFI and some of the backgrounds people have that have been hired by them. Do you have concerns other than the DUI?

Hey!!! I'm a girl...and you hurt my feelings! Hahha just kidding.

I'm going to nit pick here..,you are "the DUIs are it". Did you mean MORE than one DUI? If so...that right there is the problem. I didn't know if it was just the way you typed it or if you have more than one.

Thank you, maybe I'm a little too vigilant, but, hate to them to say you falsified your application, I guess the best way is to jump in and see where it goes, I watch and research a little too much on this on the net, scattering my brain

Shawn the farthest the most extensive MVR goes is 10 years , most companies go back 5 years for it to full off so you should be fine

I was getting the ball roling with Caledon, then get on you tube and every tuber on there says Caledon is going under. Whats so bad about England or Swift they hire anybody don' they? thanks

Did CFI give you any hope? They are a great company. If all you have is the DUI and you can put together work history and or unemployment for the past 3 to 10 years, you should be good.

Shawn, have you looked here? Paid CDL Training Programs

Here is my training diary with CFI. CFI was XPO. Try some of the bigger companies who hire from every state. Good luck.
