Company trucks

I have been wondering something about company trucks a maybe a silly question. As a new driver you will be given and older company truck and rightly so i have no qualms about that, but what about the matresses in the sleepers when do they get changed out do they get changed out or cleaned? I am a clean guy and the idea of sleeping on adirty matress that multiple peolle have done god knows what on kinda grosses me out.

First let me say thank you for all the incouragment I am so ready to face the new challenges that this career and life style will have. I love the idea about being on the road, its funny how things come around I started my working life as a deilvery driver for a local parts house. I loved being one the road first to take the long runs I loved being on the road. Now this job bigger loads bigger trucks but still getting from point a to point be safe and on time.

Getting started

As I am getting ready to head to put somethings in to some sort of order their will be plenty overthe next year that I and many new drivers will not have any control over. Things we will have control over is the confort level in our trucks,I plan on making mine as conforable as possable. I plan on turning the sleeper into my personal oasis my bit of sanity from my first year.I am starting with werner I plan to make it though my first year with one company no matter what I hope making the truck as confortable as possable. I hope I am thinking about this right . Bust my ass drive the truck and try not to screw up .

New to being a Driver

I have just finished my CDL training with RoadMasters, I will start Orentation with Werner in the next week. I am wanting to make sure I can make this first year the best it can be I heve heard most of the students in my class will not be driving by the end of our first year, Numbers as high as 80% we were told in most cases will not be in the field in a year. As I have been doing a lot of resurch and watching a lot of youtube and I am amazed at the negitivity I have seen from drivers, I am looking for advise on how to do my best to one of the 20% that are still here after the first year and for many years after that. Thank you in advance for any good helpful information.
