CPAP question

Mine plugs into a modem. I just never done it before I guess when it comes time I'll have to learn how to do it lol.

It won't end it. Like I said before...you might have to buy a new machine that transmits the info to the company via a modem. That way you don't need to go to a terminal every month.

My company pays for the machines up front and you pay them back weekly for like $25-$50.

CPAP question

Mine reads on a chip and the machine itself. I was worried my dad been driving truck for 26 years and snores like a diesel truck running a few short cylinder. But he won't get check out because he afraid it will end his driving career. That what had me worried

Ok sorry to change subject here but still about cpap. I'm trying to get into a school for cdl I've had a cpap for over two years I use it daily. Will this cause problem with the physical etc? Also if you don't like the full mask look into the nasel pillow ( http://www.cpap.com/cpap-masks/nasal-pillow-cpap-mask.php this was just a website to show what it looks like) I like this one if you roll or move the mask doesn't slide off your face. Again sorry and thanks

If you have a CPAP and use it daily, you will be fine, BUT the machine must record your usage, and the company needs to be able to access that data to verify it. You may have to buy a new CPAP machine if your machine does not record data, OR if the company can't read the data it generates.

Pros and cons of team driving

Okay thanks. This is what I need some view of people who have the knowledge. I can see the husband and wife make it out better. Thanks for the info.

There can still be a debate, team driving works for some people, not for others.

My vote: thumbs down.

You and your buddy go into a residential bathroom, and stay there for at least 10 hours. You can do something like watch TV, and the other tries to sleep at the same time. (Rule #1: don't use the commode, since you don't have one on the truck.) Then swap for another 10 hours.

Even the money thing is debatable. The CPM for a team member is less than a solo driver, but you also get paid miles your buddy drives. And it really comes out almost the same as solo OTR, anyway.

The people who come out ahead on team driving are husband & wife teams.

Well another FNG

Well name is Rodger everyone calls me Rabbit. Trying to get prepared for this school up in Sellersburg Indiana. Just waiting on the VA to send me my letter. I'll be the third generation trucker of the family not by choice. My school closed down and I'm sitting on worthless credit.

One additional reason to choose a Paid CDL Training Programs

I'm kinda of confused by this. If I go company training route I'm stuck with that company. Not saying I'm going to jump companies but being military I don't really want to sign a contract if I can get my school paid for. Does it look better if I go in with just coming out of CDL school or is it better to be stuck with one company?
