Thanks Brett, I dont think i have time, i leave sunday but i do have your android app so I will be using that and accessing your site from my laptop when we are at a truckstop to continue studying. Roadkill, I will definately post my experiences with Prime, but every driver that i have talked to from there loves them so i do not anticipate any issues, but will post helpful hints as I learn them.
Andy, Congrats to you to brother. What part of Az are you in? I am originally from Tucson. PM me if you want. Keep it safe and good luck!

Keep getting tripped up by question #42
Make sure you memorize it. That question is your emergency equipment which you need to always have. If you don't then you're in big trouble with DOT. It's also a critical part of your pretrip inspection test. If you forget to meantion emergency equipment and what it is then its an automatic fail.
I cannot say about other states, but I just took the FL CDL test and it was in 2 of the 3 tests that i had to take. so yes, know that without even having to think!!

Afternoon all, first off i want to say THANK YOU for this website. After going through your High Road Online CDL Training Program and repeatedly going over your CDL practice tests until i knew them by heart, I blew through the FL CDL exam with absolutely no issues. I think i may have missed 2 questions because of the way they had it worded, but that was completely it for all 3 tests. I cannot thank you enough for all of the information you had on here. Now I leave in 5 days for Springfield MO to start my new career with Prime Trucking. I would also like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to learn from them after having to give up my previous career because i became to old, (I guess they consider 48 too old now):( I will be back again after i finished my training with them to work on my hazmat/tanker/flatbed, and I am sure that this site will help me just as much as it did for my CDL. Thank you again, I cannot tell you how much i really appreicated all of the information you gave me!!

Preparing for CDL tests on my own, please advise.....
Afternoon guys, I really appreciate all of the information that you have on here, and especially appreciate the free cdl training you have on here, but i have found one little issue. The question about Combination vehicles longer than 25 feet or wider than 80 inches (excluding mirrors, bumpers and other safety devices) must have special lighting and reflective equipment. Which of the following is NOT required: I marked no white reflectors, and when it brought up the passages that show the regs, it did not say anything about white reflectors in it.
Second division or combination vehicles longer than 25 feet or wider than 80 inches (excluding mirrors, bumpers and other safety devices) must have special lighting equipment. The following lighting equipment is required on vehicles operated outside the limits of cities, towns or villages between sunset and sunrise:
Two yellow or amber lights on the front of the vehicle. One light must be on each upper-front corner and visible for 500 feet. Three red lights on the rear of the vehicle in a horizontal line and visible for 500 feet. Two yellow or amber reflectors on the front of the vehicle. One reflector must be on each lower corner. Two red reflectors on the rear of the vehicle. One reflector must be not more than 12 inches from each lower corner.
Granted its is just 1 wrong question, but want to obtain verification in case it is on the FL test.
Thanks all Roger
