Volvo brake squealing

I drove this somewhat new Volvo at my company and didn't notice until I left the yard that the brakes were squealing a little bit. Never really noticed much squealing when braking before. Is this safe to drive in?

Anyone know anything about Schneider?

I'm thinking about going OTR to get my experience driving out of school. Leaning towards Schneider. Now does anyone know what its like to go train for them? I was told orientation is for 18 days, $80/ day, they pay for pretty much everything besides dinner, and then when I'm done up to 40 cents/ mile and a 3 cent bonus potentially. If there are any tips or fine print anyone can show me it would be appreciated. Just really want to get the training I need to get a local job and don't want to get taken advantage of by any of these companies. Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to get a local job without experience?

I just posted about nerves during testing and now I have a question about getting a job once I (hopefully) get my license. I'm in Michigan. I'm 22 fresh out of school. I called around to different companies. Most said I need at least 6 months exp. not surprising to me really. Still sucks tho. And then I called one company and he said he was gonna be honest and say no one will hire me without experience and because insurance for them would be outrageous. Don't know much about the industry but it makes sense. I'm not in a position to go OTR but everything I've seen heard and read seems to say that that's the only to start out. To go otr with a trainer for six months and make peanuts. I know that's what I'll be making if I have to do that. So I guess I just want to know if all this is true and if it all isn't what do I need to do to get work. I'd love any feedback. Thanks a lot in advance

How to calm my nerves during testing

I just got fail #3 on my road test. My instructor has told me I'm a really good driver and he was surprised I failed once. I just can't seem to keep from making the one mistake that fails me. Part of the problem is nerves. I have a lot riding on this since I paid for my schooling out of pocket and each fail is another $160. Sorry for the essay but how can I calm my nerves during test day. I feel like I'm about to explode right before. Any tips I'd love on nerves and anything else
