Application regarding Speeding violation

Brett and Rick Thanks for you Input. The question is ambiguous. The OR is what bothered me as well. There was no room for explanation in the online application and that would have made it easier. I didn't want want to be dishonest but didn't want to unnecessarily incriminate myself either.

Thanks again for your input

Application regarding Speeding violation

I am filling out my application and it ask "Have you had any moving violations or traffic convictions in the past 3 Years?*" I was ticket for speeding in Jan but took defensive driving and it was dismissed. I know a driving record is very important for new driver. I am asking if I should answer NO since it was dismissed with drivers education. It is not on my record. Please weigh in?

7 days home after 7 days out7 days home after 14 days out3,4 Days Home After 7 Days Out (Rotating

Brett that is one Good looking German!! My Dad was a K9 Explosive Tec so we had Germans around the house for years. One of my life lessons from my dad came from one of his Germans. He was DPS officer at DFW and they sent him to train at AFB in San Antonio. Dog was supposed to do aggression training. Heard a gunshot on training field 21 days in and BAM!! dog was gone like the wind(Fail -no help if criminal has a gun). It took about all personnel on the base a day and 1/2 to find him. So career change.

Dad stayed 28 more days and dog was trained on Explosives instead, Dad became a Bomb Tec with K9. He hated his regular policing job and was just trying get in rest of his years to retire. After he was forced to switch due to training incident he told me every time I saw him that he could not believe he was getting paid every day to Hang out With his dog and blow stuff up every day. Said he would have done it for free, and they had to finally force him to retire.

After reading your book this also reminded me of your start in trucking.

(and yes dog had to be put in a compression jacket and locked up before the explosion every time)

Same opinion I had on slip seating. Sounds like Logistical nightmare. not to mention you would have to move in and out of rig with all your stuff every time.

If a person really needed the home time real bad it would be great for that type situation so I applaud the company offering it at same time.

It says rotating. Does that mean you do each one of these homtimes or you can pick one?

Forrest B,

I ran across that home plan when I was researching companies. My understanding is those are 3 different options to choose for your run and home time. You choose one. Only the last option 7/3 and 7/4 are rotaing. one week you get 4 off next you get 3 off.

It is my undestanding as well these options include sleep seating with another driver or two depending on plan you choose.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, because I am still researching schools. dancing-banana.gif

p.s. yes thats is my first dancing banana!
