Schneider Whirlpool Dedicated

I would say if they where driving Day Cabs that Big Pretty Sleeper you drive really isn't cut out for the run. If your backing still sucks then I say no reason to force that pace on you, appears to be an accident waiting to happen. At least you stepped up and took on the challenge, good for you! Much respect Brother, hold your Head High, not a fail just not the right fit at this time.

My pay as a rookie driver

So I noticed on the 2nd page you were under the threshold to have any Federal Taxes taken out, watch for that it will bite you at the end of the year. If I remember ADP may allow you an option to have a certain % taken out regardless of pay or may even offer that if you make less than a certain amount. Not bad pay for a Rookie!

Sleepwear on the Road

Did a search but didn't find my answer. Forget the training part of the equation, I am talking Solo here. So I run my day then it's time to bed down for the night, maybe I get a shower but probably not every day. Do ya'll sleep in your driving cloths or change into something Comfy like shorts and a T, maybe jogging pants and a hoodie during the colder months. Sleeping well is a very important part of being a Safe OTR Driver and I thought, Hey how do the Pro's do it. I can only imagine what type of emergency could creep up that you need to be ON 24/7 but nobody feels good sleeping in Jeans and a Polo.

I think it's great Kids these days still have that request, I had no idea. Kind of warms the heart and gives me some hope for the future of all of my Grand-babies.

TMC APPLICATION/PRE HIRE

Seems a bit odd but what do I know. I applied to several, have 2 that are having me call in every Friday to keep them updated and one that I told "No Thanks"(they were a recruiting mill, had 9 different recruiters call in the first 3 hours) but still get an automated call twice a day from Lisa. They all jumped on me quick but only the Mill ran my DAC and the other 2, I am not sure why they haven't processed any further than just the weekly calls.

Werner accounts available near me.

I have to agree with Patrick, I live in a very rural area here in Texas, we have a Family Dollar and up the road in another small town is a Dollar General. I have spent some time watching the Drivers working in those lots and its absolutely insane, always wanted to talk with one of them but they just looked too stressed out once they jumped out of the cab. Shoot, I have a Long Bed Pick up and a car hauler flatbed and it was crazy getting in and out of those lots in one piece. Sure you can understand you share the road with other Texas drivers.
