The B Team Returns to the Road
Hi B Team,
I'm doing hardcore pre school study. If you have the time could you elaborate on the trip planning and logging? How was it set up for you to test on? It's kind of where I'm at now in my cramming along with the HOS that's twisting my brain a little bit.

Wow! I'm still trying to figure this one out. They will have to throw a buttload more than that at me to get me to walk after all the time and effort im going to devote to this. I guess I'm just preparing myself for the worst and I'll deal with it. Time to suck it up buttercup and tuck my sensitive little feelers away while i'm under someones wing. I will glean every drip of knowledge I can. I know this is going to be tough.

G-Town,
Wow, nice constructive critique. I hope to receive the same when I get on here and need to vent. Your insight from a different perspective is priceless. I think we all need that in order to stay grounded and focused.

Hey BZT, How was the home time? Had a question on the Swift/Idaho pre trip inspection sequence. I hear it's different than the other study sequences out there. I would hate to get a routine down and come to find out I need to change it during training. Any insight? I'm also trying to get a straight answer from my recruiter on what I'll be getting paid while training with my mentor. Just trying to budget for that month of on the road "boot camp".

C1 Driving Academy - Indianapolis, IN... Adventures with Swift
Hey Daniel, I've been trying to get some budgeting done for when I go to training. I'll be covered during the 3 weeks because i'll take vacation from my current job, buuuuuut I can't get a straight answer from my recruiter on the average I can expect per week with my mentor. Any ideas? looks like you New Yorker's get "hazard pay" for driving out there

C1 Driving Academy - Indianapolis, IN... Adventures with Swift
Hey Daniel,
I'm sitting here reading your diary and I'm actually getting a rush from it all. I start Swift academy in Jan, in Lewiston Idaho. Love your positive attitude and humble approach in dealing with some of the negative trails that are thrown your way. I can't imagine driving in NY. I did lots of work for IBM out there in Fishkill and noticed the narrow roads back then. Anyway congrats on the new life. Any insight you have for me in going to Swift would be much appreciated. One thing I have been concerned about is all the different pre trip routines. Is there any certain one I should be studying? I am cramming the High Road training for the next few months and hopefully that's going to give me a leg up. My biggest fear in all this is the mentor time. It's got to be incredibly intense. Sounds like you lucked out big time. Unlike Blue Zombies tragic mentor training. I've also been picking Blue Zombie's brain for newbie info. By the way anyone else that comes across this feel free to chime in with any advice for me.
