Hi again guys and thanks once again for all the experienced input on this forum, I find it a fantastic resource.

I am still studying for my cdl permit due to the fact that I have to wait until August until I can apply for my permit due to the US driving license one year waiting period for new immigrants. I have been looking for the answer to this question but cannot find it.

I am aiming for my CDL class A. When is the best time to add the endorsements? Do I add them immediately after passing CDL permit and Air Brakes or do I have to wait until I have a full CDL license?

Hi Guys. My name is Gary and I am new to the idea of trucking but am at the stage of it being more than just curiosity. I came to the US from the UK 4 months ago and have spent a lot of time researching this lifestyle and have decided that this what I want to do. I am Married but do not have kids. I also have my US driving license in Missouri where I reside. I have a question that I cannot seem to find the correct answer for. I find a lot of guesses but no true answer so maybe someone here can help, so here goes. "How long must I hold a US drivers license prior to applying for my CDL?" . I am looking at PRIME INC. for my schooling and career but when I look at their application page it asks for my previous 3 years driving history in US. I don't have 3 years history in US, I do have 25 years in UK with a totally clean record. Will this count?
