Question about medical card and cardiologist

I had the same issue. I also had a stress test done before hand because I had read somewhere that would also be a requirement. As it turned out they requested a copy of the test results along with a Dr.s letter stating that I was under his care and that I was clear for driving.

New Primate

Thanks Grumpy, Han Solo, Robert, Turtle and Michael. I got hooked up with my TNT trainer today and expecting to go out tomorrow. He is from the South too and close to the same age with a similar out look on life. So again I am pleased with the way things have been working out.

Completed PSD training. Now waiting for a trainer to begin my TNT training. So far I have been very pleased with my decision in coming to Prime. No complaints at all. Everything going very smoothly. good-luck-2.gif

Will self-driving trucks put truckers out of a job?

This is another reason why they say there is a continuing shortage due to the subject of self driving trucks. People are hesitant to enter into the industry with this over hanging topic that has been getting a lot press. They said the same thing about air travel years ago too.

Prime' s employment verification/background...being sent home

Chill-Out! One thing you’ll soon realize, it’s an inherent quality in all successful truck drivers; they know how to roll with the punches; constantly adjusting and avoiding the temptation prompting an emotional response. It’s a necessary personality trait...

That said; Rainy is a Prime trainer. Turtle a Prime flatbed driver. They know the ropes. Be careful where you get your advice from.

Keep something in mind, Prime will hire student drivers in their early to mid-20’s. A 24 year old is unlikely to have more than 8 years of employment history.

Just be prepared to honestly give them what you can.

That is true. I wasn't the oldest in my class but very close. I am twice the age of my PSD trainer.

Physical fitness on the road

Also there are hundreds of truck friendly fitness centers across the states that will allow you to park over night. If you are a member there is always that option as well.
