Who is the Best Company to Work For With 1 Year OTR experience?

My wife is wanting to know where to set her sights when she finishes her first year. She is pulling reefers now. We are looking for no touch freight and a high percentage of drop and hook. Absolutely not interested in flatbeds. Being able to get hometime in Sourhern Indiana is important also. A rider policy is a must.

Battery Appliance Question

How big a drain on the batteries is a fan rated at .8 amp 9 volts? We run 2 CPAP machines already, so I need to know.

Engine Cranking Voltage

We have a 2013 Volvo with a Cummins engine, not sure how many ponies are under the hood. How low can the voltage get and still crank the engine? And if we DO need to jump it from the reefer, how long will it take to recharge it on idle?

New Trucker Needs Advice

OK, I need advice on 2 things. We have a "Pocket Truck Stop Guide", Edition #22, and have found it to be pretty inaccurate. Most of the stops are where it says, but the size of the parking is very inaccurate and there are a LOT we have found which are not in the guide. Is there a better publication or possibly a web site with accurate and up to date info? Also, is there a way of finding truck washouts? We need then often as we drive a reefer.
