OK, I need advice on 2 things. We have a "Pocket Truck Stop Guide", Edition #22, and have found it to be pretty inaccurate. Most of the stops are where it says, but the size of the parking is very inaccurate and there are a LOT we have found which are not in the guide. Is there a better publication or possibly a web site with accurate and up to date info? Also, is there a way of finding truck washouts? We need then often as we drive a reefer.

Pocket Truck Stop Guide

PLUS, we have a toll free number with a dedicated extension exclusively for drivers to advise us of necessary changes we need to make; these are then compiled and incorporated into each subsequent edition. The Pocket Truck Stop Guide: proof that big things really do come in small packages..."

It looks like #22 is their latest edition. I just do not know how reliable their sources are. I would advise calling them or sending an email. They could probably use your help.

This is the guide I use. You can find it in most truck stops usually, but seems to be in short supply lately. The new one must be about to come out.
