Way to go... Advice is...take your time, watch 360 around your truck and trailer, use all 6 mirrors, go slow backing if in doubt goal.... Don't let the other drivers get you rattled. This is my third week solo...I find it best to just keep it simple out here.

Ok here is the second week in trainer truck at CFI. Went to Atlanta then out to KC. Down to gulf in Texas now out to Mississippi. About 2700 and change for the week. I now need about 1500 miles to complete training with trainer then upgrade exam... This has been a good company and program for me. Thanks Big Scott for all you wrote about CFI

My first week is at 3300 miles in solo trainer truck... Drove in beautiful weather on back roads...Hit snow going over the pass on 54 in New Mexico. Saw the arch in St. Louis and then rain in Kentucky. All in all a good first week with CFI

Moe's CDL training diary
All my replies disappeared so I'll just say keep going...you will get it... The real driving and backing are a bit different out here... I'm 21 days solo and still struggle backing at truck stops. I try to keep it simple. Pull through or almost straight backs. Practicing 45 degree at wide open docks...not really learned at my private school. Good luck and tell yourself you can do it, cause you can Moe.
