Only have 7 months of Recent job history, was homeless

I was living at a homeless shelter without a car. I can document it.

I have a clean mvr.

APPLY EVERYWHERE!

Your work history might be a challenge. What were you doing prior to 10/19 that you can DOCUMENT? Letters from family, etc.

How is your LICENSE HISTORY (citations, accidents, suspensions, DUI's)?

As LDRSHIP suggests - apply everywhere you can.

I have only been working again, since October 2018. I am a licensed cosmetologist and have been working as a hairstylist. Before that, I had been working as a hairstylist but not earning enough to pay bills on my own. I was living with a boyfriend. He started cheating on me and kicked me out and I went to a homeless shelter until I got my car back and went back to work in October. Do I have a reasonable chance getting accepted into Wil Trans CDL School?

Any homeless Truckers out there?

Go to the UPS store and rent a mailbox. I think they will forward the mail to you, where ever you are for a fee.

I've been wondering about this topic too. One question not addressed already is how do you maintain an address if you're truly "homeless?" You have to have an address for a bank account, filing income taxes, credit card, voting, cell phone etc.

Need Paid CDL School 4 Pet Friendly Company

Thank you very much. I appreciate the information.

Look into Prime and Swift. I think they're both hiring from your area. I'm sure there are others, but those two come to mind right now. They both offer Paid CDL Training Programs.

Thank you very much. I looked at that site. Are there any that also offer paid CDL training? I also need one in my hiring area. I live in Valdosta, GA

Welcome Amanda! There's a lot of companies that will allow you to take your dog with you. Most of them will require a pet deposit.

Here's some information you should look through.

Need Paid CDL School 4 Pet Friendly Company

I live in South Georgia. I am looking for a paid CDL School that will eventually allow me to bring my 25 lb. dog with me, once I go on the road alone. Does anyone know of a company that offers that?
