Pre-employment call from Medical Insurance company
Hi, I'm talking to Wilson Logistics about signing on the their CDL school and driving for them. I'm told to expect a call from their Medical Insurance carrier who will ask about my surgery history among other questions. Is this a common practice? Is it strictly legal? Employers aren't supposed to ask, but by having another 3rd party company ask it seems like their circumventing the rule. If I admit I've had a surgery or have any condition that they don't want to cover due to "anticipated cost" I can be denied a job. Is this a common practice?

Training my spouse, am I eligible for Trainor pay?
I'm going to train my spouse for TNT at Prime. We thought this was a good idea to keep the money in the family. However, someone told me today that I won't receiver trainer pay. Does anyone have any idea? Any spouse teams out there, where one trained the other?
